Retain Help Desk Staff - Outsource The Drudgery To A Managed Service Provider

Kaseya to Deliver Educational Seminar at the 2007 Helpdesk and IT Support Show

8 March, 2007 – Kaseya International Ltd, provider of IT Managed Service Automation (MSA) software, is set to take the stage at the 2007 Helpdesk and IT Support Show to educate visitors on the benefits of outsourcing to a Managed Service Provider. Alan Davis will present a seminar, entitled ‘Retaining Help Desk Staff – How Managed Service providers can Remove the Drudgery and Improve Efficiency?’ on Thursday, April 26 from 1.50pm – 2.30pm.

Speaking in front of the industry’s most respected and influential figures, Davis will explain how to lower the total costs of IT ownership, improve employee job satisfaction and focus IT resources on adding value to the business
Alan Davis comments: “Managing IT infrastructure can be riddled with low value tasks that add little value, take up a lot of time and offer no job satisfaction. Companies of all sizes are faced with a number of questions such as how much can I outsource to Managed Service Providers? How will this impact my IT team?

Davis continues, “There is a growing realisation that companies do not need to make this a binary decision and there are options that allow them to choose what is managed in-house and what is outsourced.”

Working with existing staff, management service providers will troubleshoot systems, handle routine and time-consuming tasks, and perform service level management functions. This allows existing staff to support and enhance the companies systems, devoting much less time and energy to 'fighting fires'.

Davis concludes: “In today’s challenging IT environments companies can not afford to lose staff due to boredom. “

The seminar is aimed at all CIOs, IT Managers, IT Professionals and Managed Service Providers in the industry.
