ACTION COMPUTER SUPPORT PARTNERS WITH KASEYA TO DRIVE AMBITIOUS CITY EXPANSION PLANS

Kaseya managed automation software allows Action Computer Support to easily automate tasks, reduce site visits and improve business scalability

28th September 2007: Action Computer Support, specialists in providing IT support to organisations located in Central London, has recently partnered with Kaseya, global provider of Managed Service Automation software, to launch an aggressive programme of expansion. Action Computer Support currently services a number of City-based financial clients and has purchased 2,500 user licenses of the Kaseya Managed Solution Provider Edition.  

David Armstrong, Action Computer Support managing director, supported by Richard Perez first trialled the Kaseya software to fully evaluate its capabilities. They were impressed with how easily they could automate common tasks and examine patch and server alerts. Now they plan to use the highly-scalable Kaseya product to help them to rapidly grow the business.

David Armstrong comments: “Our typical customer has 5 to 50 workstations, is a professional service business, and relies heavily on e-mail, the Internet, and their computer network for running their business. Our clients hire us to support their network because they do not want to incur the overhead and cost of a full-time IT staff, and they don’t want to burden their employees with the responsibility of troubleshooting the company network.”

Armstrong adds: “We are diving in with both feet and by continuing to offer enterprise level support to small clients; we hope to significantly extend our customer base across the Square Mile. By utilising the tools within Kaseya we hope to provide greater management control and visibility of IT related issues and minimise the risk of downtime. Avoiding downtime is absolutely vital for finance companies.”
